Rainbow Warrior arrives in DBN

Eco warrior’s, Greenpeace, arrived in Durban on Wednesday, on-board their flagship vessel the Rainbow Warrior, which docked at T-Jetty (the passenger terminal). The Rainbow Warrior is one of the most environmentally friendly ships sailing the oceans. But she is not only a billboard for environmental causes, she is also a hard working campaign vessel which doesn’t mind getting its hands dirty.

The Rainbow Warrior that docked in Durban, this week, is actually in its third generation, having replaced the Rainbow Warrior II last year which in turn replaced the original Rainbow Warrior I, after it was bombed in 1985.

Opportunities like this do not come around every year, so although the rain was pelting down on Wednesday it did not stop WildWeb’s director, Paul Changuion, his wife Sarah and daughters Polly and Amellia going down and having a poke around.
