A few months back, MbaliMbali, a company providing private getaways to some of Tanzania’s national parks, came to us to put a website and a brochure booklet together for them. The website was going to be their gateway to the world, introducing themselves to their audience and pulling in prospective clients – something the internet is pretty handy at. Their brochure, on the other hand, was going to complement their message with a tangible, detailed, high quality message – something they can put in the hands of their clients once they were through the door.
Like MbaliMbali we believe in the strengths of both digital and print media and do not feel that either will (or should) subtract from the other. Both are equally important channels in their own wright and when embraced correctly can be effective.
We were super chuffed about the result of the website – you can read the blog about it here – and when the brochure came back from the printers were are certainly over the moon with the outcome it too. MbaliMbali refused to cut corners when it came to quality and requested that we throw in the works for them – high gloss images over a matt finish, overlay, emboss, foil colour and high gram paper stock. Paging through for the first time was a real treat!
The great thing we have come to know about the printed product is that it offers you an honest sensory connection. Heck, a freshly pressed booklet like this even has that vintage off-the-press smell.
As we said, we are certainly happy with the outcome and more importantly so are MbaliMbali.View the gallery below – we know that the screen can’t give you the full measure of it’s look and feel, but it does give you a small indication.
